But it's okay, I get it. You couldn't answer my questions about Babbitt because the answers are obvious. She was there to overturn an election and the MAGAs absolutely wanted her to break through that line so she and the mob behind her could reach their intended targets, who were right behind that barrier. And they are upset that she was prevented from doing that.

Again, no one should be fooled about why the MAGAs are upset. By stopping Babbitt they stopped the mob from reaching the lawmakers, which is what the MAGAs wanted them to do.

But I'm sure Ashli and the mob would have been polite and non-threatening to the Senators and Congress people if they had succeeded in reaching them, right?
lol.

I've said that Babbitt was in the wrong - I've never defended her actions.

You literally can't see your own hypocrisy.

Calm down.

I've never argued that any protesters be summarily shot.

Do you resort to asserting double standards, when double standards aren't evidenced, just because you don't have a good argument?
Yes you are. You are absolutely arguing that white, conservative protesters should be summarily shot and BLM protesters and even criminals actively fighting a police officer should not be.

NO.

I don't know where you get this from, but it's not based on reality.

It's based on the reality that you argue an imminent, deadly threat of an unruly protestor or subject doing something illegal is determined by race and political leaning.

I don't think the Capitol cop panicked. He was standing in a hall doorway aiming his gun at the window and it sure seemed he was set on intentionally shooting the first person that climbed into it. It was an intentional and unjustified killing, but apparently he's not going to be fired and prosecuted or even reprimanded or his identity revealed.

One needed a pass and an escort to enter the Capitol building for months prior to Jan. 6 Even when the gallery is open to the public, one cannot just go onto the floor.

An unruly protester isn't storming the Capitol. I think you are trying to dismiss the actions of a mob, to fit your agenda. And it isn't working. That mob was seen by people around the world, live and unedited.

I know the protestors/rioters were trespassing but the Capitol is still not a private residence like some lefties are arguing and BLM are breaking into barricaded public buildings or state capitols that require permission to enter too.

BLM have stormed government state and federal buildings repeatedly, police stations, court houses, capitols, attempted to breach the white house all through the night over a weekend. None of them are just shot, but by your reasoning here they should be.
