I'm so sick of this abortion argument. Abortion has been around since ancient times and always will be whether you make it illegal or not. So I'm really not understanding the point of going to back alleys abortions again which will absolutely happen. Roe v Wade made it safe and it should stay safe. If some are so against abortion then stop complaining about those on food stamps and welfare. Or better yet, adopt the hundred of thousands of kids already in foster care.
Women won't have to go back behind doctor's offices again, if most abortion is banned. They will simply take drugs to induce abortion, which are safe to do up to the 12th month. If a state bans those drugs, then the woman can order them on the Internet or purchase them from the local street drug peddler. Because having an abortion will be so easy to do, I won't be surprised not much will happen to counter it in the states that ban abortion. After all, it takes a lot a time, people and dedication to circulate a petition to get the required number of signatures to vote on repealing any laws that ban abortion. Some states won't allow doing that so the underground market for abortion inducing drugs will boom, possibly for a long time, in those states.
But it's all political for Republicans to use to get their base off their asses to vote for them. Many of their Republican voters want literally all or nearly all abortion banned.
Odd, then, how no one has abolished fetal homicide laws in the US. Either anyone can kill a fetus, or no one can: US Constitution Equal Protection Clause.
White supremacy is a myth. No one is targeting anyone. People are freely making their own decisions, and clinics operate on simple supply and demand. Which is efficient and good.
That's exactly the point. Why make supply more available where there's less demand? Because PP, white supremacists that they are, are deliberately targeting minority women for higher abortion rates.

Saying yes to sex isn’t saying yes to pregnancy, 9 months gestation, labor and delivery, 18 years of parenting or adoption.
In fact, it is. Pregnancy is a KNOWN possible outcome of choosing to have sex. Just like getting in a car accident is a KNOWN possible consequence of choosing to either drive or ride in a car. People deliberately make the choice to accept those possible outcomes, respectively, every time they choose either.

Then how is it that courts can order men to pay child support? Why can't they just walk away from the responsibility of a child like women can? Good for the goose = good for the gander. Make it legal for either to choose to not have to bear the responsibility, financially or otherwise.

Are you sure you aren't just imagining that for some bizarre reason? What I've seen is almost everyone advocating the correct and consistent use of highly effective contraceptives. We already know that most unintended pregnancies are the result of the failure to use contraceptives correctly or even at all.

I'm not from the states but I have heard Americans real views about abortion are much less extreme and more down the middle despite all the bans and protests in certain states. Is this fairly accurate?
Interesting info from Gallup. As recently as 2020, less than half of Americans believe that abortion is morally acceptable. That's where Democrats depart from the moral fabric of US society and how Americans in general regard the issue, as 62% of Democrats believe abortion is morally acceptable. That's a pretty big difference.
What 'crimes' has the human life growing inside a woman committed?....other than being the result of (likely unprotected) sex. Those who believe that worthy of capital punishment are among the pro-death group I mention as they support and at times encourage the death penalty for said life. If you don't want it, don't create it.
