Blah, blah, blah.

The cloth mask protects NOONE. If you get sick, stay home. If you're panicked about getting sick, also stay home.

This is the saying, but there is no evidence to substantiate it. I mean, there is some 'common sense' behind it, but common sense is often wrong in science.

What will banks do about customers wearing masks once the mandates are gone?

Will ugly people on dating sites wear masks?

So disappointing....because you're both smarter than this. But you're masking your common sense in order to be good, lock-step, partisan team players. Try as you may toward that end, you will have no success trying to re-write the laws of physics.

Masks are a physical barrier that stop some droplets from going beyond it far enough to infect others. There's no escaping that truth. And we've seen the results in far less respiratory illness for the last year.

Playing "devil's advocate" here -- as I am HIGHLY suspicious of this entire pandemic situation -- if masks are ineffective (and social distancing, according to almost everything I have read, is "questionable"), then why was this year's flu season almost non-existent?

From https://www.media.pa.gov/pages/healt...px?newsid=1473 (My bold and italics):

As we end the flu season this year with fewer than 4,000 cases, I want to emphasize that this is one of the mildest flu seasons on record for Pennsylvania,” Acting Secretary Beam said. “The previous season was higher than usual with more than 130,900 cases of flu. That is a stark difference from where we ended in 2021. The low flu activity, in part, is a testament to effective COVID-19 mitigation efforts that also prevent the flu, since the two infectious diseases spread the same way. In addition, a record number of individuals got their flu vaccine this season.”
[end quote]

That is one heck of a difference!

NYC should have more accidents but less fatalities as most if not all would be at lower speeds. Thanks for playing please try again.
