I'm his base. Degreed, professional, successful and this class action will shake all the left popular wankers to their core. The word on the street says President Trump's legal team holds the winning hand.

Maybe I will put my washing machine on the porch so you'll feel more comfy insulting all of us?

Exactly. +1.

The progressive left wants a revolution, a "great reset"... not just for the economy but all of society. They've shown they'll go to any lengths (and turn a blind eye to the resultant violence/human tragedy) to accomplish this goal. My guess is they won't be very happy when the dust settles. Sanity will ultimately prevail.

Perhaps you should know what the Fairness Doctrine was and wasn't, and why it was enacted in the first place, before commenting. The Fairness Doctrine (which ended during the Reagan administration, by the way) applied only to broadcast television and radio, and applied only to local broadcast stations and not to networks such as CBS. The Fairness Doctrine did not regulate news reporting.

As usual, Trump doesn't know which freedoms are guaranteed by the Constitution and which are not.

Isn't that the platform any time an incumbent is opposed?

No, but they can ban people for violating terms of service, which is what happened to Trump.
But the terms of service ban was only selectively applied to trump. How many BLM rioters were banned? How many dictators were banned? It’s also questionable how he incited violence.

Which company is a monopoly? Facebook ... nope. Twitter ... nope again.

Sorry about your luck.

They collude with one another. Look that up.

Default This is pretty awesome...

From the suit:

Quote:
Neither Plaintiff nor Putative Class Members were free to decline the speech restrictions imposed by Facebook in its TOS if they wished to use the Facebook platform. Use of its platform was expressly conditioned on agreeing to these restrictions, or User access was denied.
Womp womp. Implicit admission that Former Guy agreed to the TOS.

I am, however, informed that the fundraising texts have gone out. That bit of the machinery works admirably.

Anyway, what happened to the game-changing social media presence that he was supposed to roll out? Stuck in beta?

Fascinating. Would this be a street that is frequented by legal professionals, at all?

I agree and let's hope sanity prevails.

That still doesn't make either one a monopoly. There is no "exclusive control".

There are plenty of other social media platforms other than Facebook and Twitter for Trump to:
  • agree to the individual Terms of Service
  • violate the Terms of Service
  • get banned
  • play the victim card
  • ask for donations for a lawsuit against the company that banned him.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Well he can't be that irrelevant since you liberals generate countless Trump threads here on a daily basis.

Even if he doesn't win it will cost the media/tech companies a boatload of cash to defend the lawsuit with their high-priced $1000+/hour lawyers. Not that the money matters to them, but at least it might bring attention to the censorship issue.
