This is a just another nonsense lawsuit on his part but at least it got attention in his attempt to remain relevant. Anyone notice the phony presidential seal look alike on the podium, very impressive.
The First Amendment does not prohibit private individuals, companies and employers from restricting speech. The social media platforms responsible for suspending President Trump’s accounts are privately owned and operated, and they are free to limit the content on their sites without implicating the First Amendment. Thus, the First Amendment is not implicated in the decisions made by private social media platforms to suspend President Trump’s accounts.
Legal experts say " the First Amendment does not limit private employers. The Bill of Rights — and the First Amendment — limit only government actors, not private actors. This means that private employers can restrict employee speech in the workplace without running afoul of the First Amendment".
Exactly. I'm sure whatever sleazy lawyers that would actually work for Trump know this and know it will be most likely dismissed or it is DOA. This is nothing more than a PR stunt and a fundraiser to rile up the base.
I'll be by later to spray-paint a BLM logo on your car. My First Amendment right to free speech extends to the use of other people's property, right? (Please leave the garage door open.)
That power line running into your home is private property. How's about I slip the company lineman a wad of Ben Franklins to cut that line? When you go complain to the company or cops, we'll just use the excuse that you were rooting for the Colorado Rockies last week rather than the St. Louis Cardinals. It's a private company's right to make such a decision, right? Next week your water lines go because Mary Ann was your favorite Gilligan's Island character, rather than Ginger.

Are you under the impression that FB and Twitter are sole source providers of life sustaining utilities that
provide service that users pay for?

Twitter has no ability to control where and when any lawsuit is filed. It's laughable and indicative of their profound arrogance.

This is a good battle to undertake and the southern district of Florida is a good legal venue for the fight.
Are either of you commercial litigators? Just curious.

Nice try, but Twitter and Facebook are not public utilities regulated by state public utilities commissions.
Nor should they be. They don't qualify as public utilities.
