Ever read the Term of Use for these websites. He violated them constantly, even after given warnings and editing his posts. They yanked him like you're starting a mower! Good for them.
Every social media site has Terms of Service, which we all agree to when we join the site. You agreed to Terms of Service when you registered on City-Data, and on any other social media/internet site you have have joined.
If you violate those Terms of Service, the social media site has the option to kick you out.

The same social media have dictators and let them write whatever they want even death to Israel and their accounts are active. Venezuela's Maduro has his accounts. Iran's Khamenei has his accounts. China state government has their account, XI Jinping and Syria have their accounts. North Korea. Putin has his accounts active. O.J. Simpson who butchered 2 people and went to prison for kidnapping and is a convicted criminal has his accounts. The list is long.

You are incorrect. The issue is not a private company but their censorship of free speech in a strategic collusion with the Democratic Party. It will be overwhelming evidence in court of same.

In my own property, I am free to censor any speech I so wish, and so are you. Tube and Twitter are both privately owned, and intellectual property is still real property. Over and again the courts have decided with property owner's rights over other's rights.
In the public arena, everyone is free to speak as they please. but UTube and Twitter are not the public arena.
They can censor as they see fit for the good of their property

You may have a valid point for 1 second until people realized they don't enforce their rules for everybody. They have dictators and politicians and people spreading lies and violence on people and nothing. It's funny, all of those people come from the left.

The First Amendment does not prohibit private individuals, companies and employers from restricting speech. The social media platforms responsible for suspending President Trump’s accounts are privately owned and operated, and they are free to limit the content on their sites without implicating the First Amendment. Thus, the First Amendment is not implicated in the decisions made by private social media platforms to suspend President Trump’s accounts.

And Trump had his own accounts too, until he repeatedly breached the Terms of Service he agree to to follow.
If O.J. does the same, he may be kicked off, or any of them. They're just smart enough to stay polite and follow the Terms. Too bad Trump wasn't that smart, isn't it?
Trump had to really try to be offensive to get the boot. Both companies don't want to kick anyone off, because that's one less customer. They've cut a lot of slack to lots of offensive comments, but insurrection was more than they could permit.
Neither can I, and neither should you. Go out if you must and find a better Trump than Trump. One who won't be such a traitor.
Exactly. I'm sure whatever sleazy lawyers that would actually work for Trump know this and know it will be most likely dismissed or it is DOA. This is nothing more than a PR stunt and a fundraiser to rile up the base.
Exactly. Trump broke the rules he agreed to when joining various social media outlets, so the bans will be upheld.
It is very entertaining to see the Trump City-Data people get all excited like anything will actually come from these lawsuits, though.
He will get what he really wants from these "lawsuits"....... monetary donations. He made the announcement and immediately started fund raising.
And his followers will lap it up and send him money. Similar lawsuits have been filed in the past, and the courts upheld social media's rights.
