So, let's indeed talk about lying.

When this stupid thing all started, I was very understanding. People lost their jobs through no fault of their own, while half the country praised Gain of Function Fauci as the end all, be all, authority on Covid.

But, my understanding is gone. These people need to pay their damn rent, stop getting a hand out, and go back to work. Here's why:

I hear from both sides. One side says, "they need help, we need to help them, they can't find work", and the other side says, "They need to get off their butts and work."

For a long time, when this all started, I was with those who said, "they need help", because they did, and again, they didn't lose their job because of themselves, they lost it because of our "it's just for 2 weeks" governments across the country.

But, the day before yesterday, I applied at 3 jobs. I did not do that because I need a job, I have work, I did it because I wanted to see if it was difficult to get a job. There are “help wanted” signs everywhere, but maybe they won't pay enough, or maybe they won't give full hours, or maybe they're turning people away, despite the signs.

All 3 jobs that I applied for asked me to come in for an interview yesterday. All 3 jobs were offering as many hours as I wanted (legally, being an employee, not an IC like I am now).

All 3, I got. Before you think it was based on skills or great interview techniques, AND, keep in mind that I'm not in my 20s, which most employers want, nor am I in my 30s, which most employers will still take, allow me to tell you how stupidly easy it was.

*One application didn’t even ask for my work history or references, and they didn’t ask for any of that during the interview.

*One interview was so….dumb. They asked me what I dislike about what I’m doing now, asked me what days I would be willing to work, and the next thing I know, I’m "approved" for the job.

*One, I had ZERO skills doing, have never done it before, and yet I still got hired.

Pay? One is over $18/hr, one is $15/hr with bonuses after 3 weeks training, (the one I have no skills in), and one was $15 PLUS tips.

So, there are jobs out there, have been jobs out there for over 6 months.

It’s time for people to start working again.

We cannot afford to keep paying them to sit at home.

Where I live, the pay is double, almost triple for one job, the minimum wage.

There’s plenty of work available at better wages than before the lockdowns started last year.

Not a one of them required I wear a mask. All were in the service industry. All were "starter" jobs with one paying almost what I make now, but they wouldn’t have a huge monthly gasoline bill, and maintenance on their cars in order to work.

This rental thing needs to end. The hand outs need to end. The ongoing violin of sympathy needs to end. The 'landlords are EVIL' BS needs to end. The lies need to end.

There is no excuse for these people not to be working except that they simply do not want to work. You can walk in, ask for a job, and get one, pretty much right then and there.
WOW!! Take THAT, lying socialist DEMS! What truly amazes me is that DEMOCRATS don't seem to realize that they, too, will also get caught up in downfall of America, just like the rest of us! KARMA!!

I must really suck at life if you're actually telling the truth. Employers just hate me. It might also be a symptom of how crappy my area is too.
Also I bet you have your driver's license. I gather it's a big obstacle. I feel like even when the job would be close enough, they just smell it on me even when I apply online..like they can smell it from the computer.
The only job that hired me during this pandemic period fired me in 5 days. You know it's bad (or you're repulsive to "normies") when you get fired for an 11 dollars an hour job. Not to mention you also don't get picked for a job and they repost it. That has happened to me at least twice since the pandemic.

I'm an introvert so I don't know what it means to party. I was/am too stupid for college. I passed but had to take a few classes over in order to do it.

Why the need to lie about it?

If only I was good at lying. I'd be making some good money by now I'm sure.

This needs to end now. These leeches got around $3000 + per month, depending on their state's unenjoyment amount, so they most certainly had the money to pay their damn rent.

No more waiting. They could have paid all along. Stop with the excuses and stalling. Screw those people.

Where's my free rent?

Where's my year long handouts?

Where's my 'free' education?

People need to pay their own damn way, and stop expecting everyone else to pay their way for them.

That's what the entire plandemic was about, getting as many people as possible to get used to government handouts and therefore "voting" for it in the future.

Will those same bleeding hearts open up their homes and wallets and take care of these potential homeless people? Of course not, but they want “them” to pay for those people. Not sure who “them” is? If you are talking about me, forget about it.
I take it you were not laid off, because of government mandates?

Just under half of the US is fully vaccinated, according to official data.

The eviction memorandum ends today, technically Biden failed to vaccinate the country before they’re forced to start paying rent again.

I would hope that such a thing doesn't pass Congress. Landlords have been losing a lot of money as it is.

Honestly you sound lazy. I could be wrong but that's how you presented yourself in this post. Fired from a minimum wage job? How inept are you? Cant figure out how to get a drivers license? Are you truly mentally challenged or just a liberal? There is a huge difference. Do you really think the world owes you a certain existence because you are this inept? I hope you don't vote because someone as inept as you present has no business voting.

I've always been too afraid to drive. I have had my permit 2 or 3 times and it expired. I have PTSD and long term depression if that helps. My brain has also always been wired different so it is a challenge in this society but in the same way Superman finds Kryptonite to be his weakness.

I don't know what inept means to you. It seems like a subjective term but all I can say is I'm too inept to even be given a chance. I don't usually get hired in the first place. The weird thing is I took an IQ test once and it said 0 (although it was weird how it only tested me on math and patterns) but another one I took just recently said 109.

It's ironic you said I sound lazy when that was a big reason I quit the only job (and when I say job I mean JUST OVER BS) that kept me. They gave me a job during the pandemic where I actually had to work so my boss told me to apply for the department I worked the longest at so eventually I did. I wish I was inherently lazy because working hard doesn't get me anywhere. I mean I can't even get a job in the department I've been helping out with for over a year? Now if anything I'm just jaded type lazy which doesn't get the same perks that truly lazy people do.

If my teachers from grade school were my potential employers, I'd likely do okay. All of my teachers loved me except one. It's just funny to me how teachers loved me and employers don't (except for maybe my boss so it's too bad she wasn't a boss of a job I would fit in)
