We already know he's used different values for assets for different purposes. He overvalues them to the banks, and under values to the IRS. That's both bank fraud and tax fraud. Trump probably has more legal firepower than the IRS does and has had them tied up in knots for years.
Also, as I said above, this is likely to not be about taxes anyway, but perhaps evidence collection on other crimes.

So what evidence do you have...??
You don't know anything and this is just another witch hunt by democrats abusing their power trying to "get Trump" while wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on fruitless investigations. Yeah boy....just stomp all over Trump's rights as a private citizen but hey they're going to "really get him" for some serious crime even if it's jaywalking across a New York street thirty years ago.
Donald Trump is a billionaire. He's audited every year. They all are. There's nothing wrong with his taxes.
This is persecution. There's no other word which fits better. You can dislike Trump, or even hate him, but to defend this as anything other than what it is, is distinctly un-American and patently dishonest.
That is not true.
Why Are The Superrich Getting Audited Less?
Topline: IRS data released this week show a steady drop in audits of those making millions, causing an immediate outcry. The apparent reasons: A slashed IRS budget and a congressional mandate to prioritize audits—but of low-income filers.
IRS budget cuts initiated by congressional Republicans have been responsible for a decrease in tax audits across the board, but especially for wealthy taxpayers.
The IRS audited 6.66% of returns from filers with more than $10 million in adjusted gross income in fiscal year 2018, down from 14.52% in 2017 and even further down from 29.3% in 2011, according to IRS data.
Among households with income between $1 million and $5 million, the audit rate dropped from 3.52% to 2.21% in 2018.
By comparison, audits of households with an income of under $50,000 still fell, but less than a percentage point. For those making less than $25,000, the audit rate fell 0.02% (to .69%) from 2017 to 2018. For income between $25,000 and $50,000 the audit rate fell .01% (to .48%).
Why the audit rate for the rich is falling: Congressional Republicans cut IRS spending after the party took control of the House in 2011 in an effort to reduce wasteful spending. The agency also drew criticism from Republicans after the IRS said it targeted some conservative nonprofit groups in 2013. Adjusted for inflation, the 2019 IRS budget is 19% below its funding in 2010, according to the Government Accountability Office, which means fewer auditors. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rachels...h=4005623a57d7

I'm sorry since when has Congress had the power to investigate the financial statements of a private citizen. Or the knowledge to do so. Thats the job of the IRS. This is purely political the dems need to find anything they can to go after Trump. They will soon begin on DeSantis. Ah a third World dictatorship on the way......Make any possible political opposition to the PARTY to afraid to object or have your life and the lives of your family and friends doxed, ridiculed and destroyed. Proud Yet.
Thats ok if they win in the end Somebody will be coming for them as well. They always come. One of the first things Hitler did when taking power was to crush the groups that put him there. He recognized that they made great revolutionaries but he needed a meek population
