If Covid affected young people like Polio or Smallpox did, you could damn sure bet people of all ages would be lining up to get the jab for themselves and their children. As it is, the people most vulnerable to Covid DID line up to get the jab. Can’t people understand that there are a lot of young people who don’t want an experimental vaccine when side effects could be worse than the actual virus?
Well, now that it is starting to impact those groups, vaccination rates are trending up rather dramatically.

You have a president (Biden) that literally opened the floodgates of illegals entering the country, bringing the Delta Covid virus, transporting them all over the country and yet your dumb Americans believe the media’s narrative that it’s the unvaccinated, Trump and conservative media fault.
Notice the liberal media didn’t tell them that almost all of those illegals Biden welcomed in were not vaccinated either. How come no outrage from them about those unvaccinated?
Again, if the argument against vaccines is something along the lines of 99.whatever will get a mild case/survive the virus, why should it matter if illegals are carriers?
You forget it was TRUMP who early in the pandemic who contracted for enough doses of vaccine to vaccinate every American with millions of doses to spare. The vaccines that have gone into arms are TRUMP VACCINES! Trump knew early on vaccines were the way out of the pandemic.
And yet, it’s often his most fervent supporters who are rabidly against getting the vaccine.
Some sort of disconnect there, wouldn’t you say?
If that were true (we can argue the details elsewhere), why don't Republicans trust it? ... why are they spreading these stories about 'chips' and 'magnetize' and all that baloney?

You are just making excuses for the dismal response to get vaccinated in red states like Louisiana, Missouri and the Dakotas. 160 million remain unvaccinated while we send vaccines to 3rd world countries, that is the problem.
The fact is the antivax stuff coming from the media is overwhelmingly coming from the right wing media. I see every time our county judge post vaccine information on facebook Trumpies mocking the vaccine and just look at this forum.
If y'all don't like being perceived as antivaxxers then fight the antivaxxers in your midst.
NYC being an urban area can have the virus spread quite easily and those numbers are horrible outside of the Asian numbers. Why isn't the media weaponizing vaccination rates against NYC? Mind you NYC without its suburbs has as many people as the 12th most populated state.
SO NYC Fully Vaccinated rates are horrid, I am sure the Democratic stronghold of Chicago has amazing vaccination rates!
This is a fascinating analysis on the GOP strategy to sabotage Biden’s vaccine rollout (and really, American public health). In short: they failed, and not just a simple fail, but a spectacularly disastrous, flaming ball of fail.
Remember the attendees at a CPAC who applauded the news of America not reaching the 70% vaccinated goal recently? Those vile creatures thought America would blame Biden.
Well, well, well, turns out America blames the unvaccinated, Trump, and conservative media for the surge and for roadblocks to keeping Americans healthy.
I wish I could say told you so, but our friends and colleagues on the other side of the aisle never listen and learn.
You mean the ignorant Americans blame the GOP, Trump supporters, and Conservatives. Those that think for themselves, and do a little research, know whom the majority of unvaccinated are.
Unvaccinated if you do not want to get the shot or were a mask stay home for the next 3 to 4 months your making condition worse for vaccinated people
I think you need to dive a bit deeper than just the state level. Here in blue Michigan, the majority of rural areas (Trump country) have the highest percentages of vaccinated, while Detroit has the lowest of the entire state, with something like 39% ....not a lot of Trump support in Detroit the last time I looked.
