Wait a minute! Maybe Ariadne22 has found the answer!
"They" have kidnapped Biden....that's why we don't see or hear from him...keeping him from TV and communications...feed him only what they want him to hear...then set up a briefing with prepared answers to a few questions he doesn't fully understand but correspond to what he's been told...then wisk him back out...back into hiding!
And he's demented enough to think this is all just dandy.

Genius

Which again make me wonder if Biden really KNOWS anything about what is happening.

All he needs to do is turn on the TV.

FOX right now has Jennifer Griffin who was a correspondent in that area - her commentary is frightening beyond belief.

And Biden hears none of this.

All the weaponry left behind - who made that decision - apparently Taliban is now in possession of advanced communication equipment which the Russians would love to get their hands on - her words. Not to mention the vehicles, armaments, aircraft.

We have met the enemy and it is us.
He either is not being told, he is distracted by other things, (his DE vacation), or he has made up his mind to do this thing and his filter is shutting off the truth. You know politicians often do this anyway - they close their mind to anything they dont want. He is so convinced that his way is right and is working, and yes it appears that his team is shielding him from these reports of people on the ground. Or he doesn't watch news that shows people fleeing in terror.. I watch Fox News, so i see excellent coverage, i dont know if CNN or MSNBC is also showing it.

You know the 3 monkeys that go "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" he may truly be this monkey, he is on purpose shutting down his mind to the truth - because he has another agenda that he will do no matter what the cost.

This guy is straight up lying to our face!

In addition Biden says Al Qaida no longer is present in Afghanistan. Even the inept UN says there are 13 provinces with active, that's right, ACTIVE Al-Qaida.
Biden said they are in talks with the Taliban. Polite way to say, they are negotiating with terrorists. Wonder what the final millions of $$$ they are going be settling on We will never ever know.

Guns, ammo, night vision, etc...but there's no cache of super sensitive special military equipment that you are being led to believe we left behind. It's not allowed to be sold.
Not talking about selling, talking about abandonment. In short, the Afghan Army has disbanded and dispersed - ALL the equipment possessed by the Afghan army plus whatever we left behind is now in the possession of the Taliban. As graphic videos of Taliban examining rows and rows of rifles and driving American humvees have shown,

I wasn't talking about selling either. I was responding to the poster who said that a reported indicated that super sensitive military equipment is falling into the hands of the Taliban. That type of equipment is not given or sold to nations such as Afghanistan. So while military equipment is falling into the hands of the Taliban, it's not of the type that is giving away secrets or technology. It's still dangerous to anyone, of course, but let's not have the media making this stuff out to be more than it is.

Taliban is in charge of US lives, so yes, Biden must obey their demands. That is how bad it has gotten.

Does anyone know if the other two leaders, or their governments, have confirmed that they've had any discussions with Biden?

The US did not provide the Afghan army with any super duper secret stuff, everything there is neutered. We do this with almost everything we sell to other countries with very few exceptions. Russia does the same things; that S-400 system say they sell to Iran, is not going to have the critical, secret software for example, the Russian owned system will have.

It is a contingency in planning in case the weapons fall into the wrong hands either captured, stolen, lost, or even change of government.
