This country is going south fast. Not one ally is happy with Biden. Oh wait. The Chinese. They are thrilled.
Not all MSM are mad, CNN is still sort of on his side, and they made a report video on the airport. So, as long as no american dead, Biden willl be fine.

Everything makes sense but then I get to this. Why is this a given? What would happen if we left them alone?

Default What if, instead of sending in 7k troops AFTER the fact...

What if Biden sent them into Kobul, along with some air support, back when the taliban was still approaching it? Telegraph it as a purely defensive objective, backup for Afghan troops defending the capital until we get everyone out.

What would be the negatives? Worst case scenario, would have bought time for a proper dismantling of the embassy and evacuation of everybody, as opposed to this sh..show going on there.

Best case scenario, possibly could have also provided room for some diplomacy. Buy time to negotiate some sort of peace deal and/or transfer of power, with international monitors overseeing things.

At the very least, we would come off as looking a bit less ridiculous, and the Taliban would at least have some check on the utter badassery they've just demonstrated to the world.

Biden could at least pay private security Contractors to stay in Afghanistan, and make sure Afghan security forces not turn tail and run like cowards.

It's much worse if you look at social media posts and videos being made by people who are there.

Stay till when, though? I think for many reasons, the Taliban would have eventually taken over. Just a matter of when and in what way.

Biden has already said that he made no mistakes and that there was nothing he could’ve done differently that would’ve been better than what happened.

Anyway, the real danger is the Jan 6th white supremacists, so we all need to learn more about CRT in order to keep us safe.

No, not really "on his side." This view was a one-off by one commentator which I heard yesterday and thought it a pathetic, heartless, callous, and feeble effort at political spin to deflect from the debacle playing out before our eyes - which won't play in Iowa or anywhere else in this country. If CNN starts to run this crap regularly, more shame to them.

Based on what I've seen this past week and today, CNN coverage has been ruthless on this disaster. The reporting of Clarissa Ward - who today is now on a plane out of there - was absolutely terrific. Tracks exactly what you're seeing on FOX.
