What is also a concern, is that the competency level of Latino students has been reported to be very low. I live in a metro area that has the lowest performing schools in the nation, and it has been directly correlated with a huge amount of Latino students, many of which don’t speak English. Even the Latino students that speak English do poorly. There was a time, when the US had the highest performing schools in the world; higher than Europe, and higher than Japan, but not anymore. The US lags behind other modernize countries in education directly because of the huge influx of immigrants from Third World nations.
Are you actually going full racist, and stating that Latinx people are less intelligent? Really?
We need to let people that arent willing to learn English fail on their own instead of accommodating them. We shouldnt have to press "1" for English...if you dont know English your out of luck. Enabling people allows them to continue doing what they are doing without reason for change. If there is a chance that the majority of America is to become a Spanish speaking country, we are the ones that allowed it to happen.
Corporations are free to cater to their customers as they wish. If their customers speak Spanish, it makes sense to have prompts in Spanish.
I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently and use it every day of my life in a professional capacity. I have also studied and speak French, German, and Russian to varying degrees.
That is why I said what I did and why I stand by it.
I studied Spanish (among other languages) in school and never use it unless I am traveling to Spain or a hispanic country or very occasionally when visiting certain parts of Florida.
If you went to school in the US, you likely speak two or more languages (perhaps not all fluently).

So you are expecting Latino students who don't speak English to perform well in Tests that are in English?
Latinos influx into this country is large and constant. It's much cheaper for them to have children here (especially with welfare systems in place) and they greatly outnumber other races when it comes to birthrates.
Is this trend going to slow down or ramp up?
I don’t think that’s going to happen. After 3 generations, they lose the Spanish for the most part. They’ll speak a bit of “kitchen Spanish”.
