People like you who insist at underestimating the resolve of Russia and deriding its might (Russia IS the 2nd overall military power in the world, and the FIRST nuclear power) are driving us straight into WW3.
The U.K. and France have nuclear weapons. Do you really think they would allow Russian troops to overrun their countries?

They don't need nukes to stop Russia, a country that can barely beat Ukraine. Putin supporters keep saying Russia is fighting NATO. If that was the case, F-15s, F-16s, F-35s, Typhoon, and Rafale fighter jets would have massacred Russian troops in Ukraine in a week.

Ukraine has no advanced offensive weapons, yet they are holding their own against the invaders. Judging by the weak, feeble performance the Russians have shown, either France or the UK can defeat them swiftly.

Yeah. Those who believe Russia is fighting NATO have not really thought it through.
Or they are Russian.

NATO would obliterate Russia, unless NATO were actually being led by Germany. With Germany's leadership the war would last for years and end in a treaty where Germans learn to speak Russian.

NATO does not have the ability to defeat Russia in Eastern Europe ans was never meant to. It was meant to contain Russia east of Germany and cannot deploy to full capability in Ukraine or Russia. This proxy war is to the West's benefit, not Ukraine's.

France would lose to Russia both in conventional and nuclear war. The UK would fare better, being an island and all.

People pushing for WW3 are completely irresponsible. The safest course of action would be to pull back and let the Slavic peoples sort it out. An escalation would be a disaster for everyone but the elites.

Wow. So Ukraine doesn’t have a history as a separate country so why should it now? Nice theme for this thread. The world has been expanding (splitting land) into smaller countries for decades now. Will be over 200 soon.

A pro-Russian colleague sent me this recently - is this the “big plan” the Kremlin has in store for the Spring?

Russia is preparing major three-pronged attack from Belarus as well as east and south

Meanwhile, Russia is ignoring Armenia’s growing frustration with a month-long blockade at a critical passageway by Azerbaijani forces. Is it difficult to fight two different fights simultaneously? This one could blow soon and Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan know Russia is weakening and busy with other “issues”.

Russian terrorists have been staging in Belarus. It is very likely that they will attack Ukraine from that position again.
