Yes, that's exactly what I just said should happen! Once again:

"If a cop tells you to commit a crime, that does not exonerate you from being charged with that crime. It just makes the cop complicit in your crime."

How can I be pro corrupt cop when I just said the cop was complicit in a crime? Obviously, yes he should be charged.

Ah yes, once again there is that "trespassing" admission. Just more right-wing whitewashing of the Jan 6 events.
The post of mine that you had originally commented on was about specific events that led to "trespassing" on to the grounds and into the building. It was not about other wrongful things that some of the people may have committed.

Do you think that Pelosi, et al, will have a segment on their show about how the cops had seemingly set up people to trespass? Or, do you think that will continue to be ignored by them?

Got it now?

I've been directed many times to U-Turn at a police blockade near an accident, at an intersection that U-turns are illegal. A normal person assumes he is being directed to break a posted law and follows that direction. I think if cops opened a barricade and directed me in I would also assume it became an OK thing to do. Wouldn't you? Your use of murder was pushing reality a bit.

I have no idea. There have already been a few DC cops charged with various crimes for the 1/6 events. But clearly they aren't the major players in the whole scheme, which is probably what the hearings are going to be about.

Smash my front window and I'll do worse. The ones next to her are fortunate the officer who shot had a cool head and picked one target. When she dropped it broke a lot of momentum in the crowd.

There was an investigation, and the cop was cleared of any wrongdoing. I personally think he should have gotten a medal.

What an idiot. Maybe this is a good thing for the people of Michigan. They may have dodged a bullet. Not a popular opinion, I'm sure, but participating in the Jan 6 festivities wasn't a smart move ... as he's finding out now.

SMH at these politicians

It’s very suspicious they pinched him now for that. Jan 6 was over 1.5 years ago. We’re looking like a banana republic where politicians are thrown in jail for the flimsiest of reasons.
