It doesn't sound like they did a rape test on her right after the rape. Instead, it sounds like they took DNA samples in Indiana from the aborted material.

That's a problem. Why didn't the OH doctor report the rape? Seems the investigation only started in IN after people started asking questions about the several severe missteps in this story.
Okay, this whole process started on June 22 and Yost knew nothing about it until this week. He's clearly not in the know. I doubt he knows if it was reported or not. CPS certainly knew about it, as stated in this article. Yost has proven that he is unreliable. And why would you focus on whether a doctor reported it. It is now reported, the story is true, the alleged rapist is in custody.
The 10 year old is no longer pregnant.
Next time crime reporting will be more efficient given the exposure of this case. Feel better.

I say he's the mom's boyfriend....the mom took her across state lines to try to keep her boyfriend from going to prison

Maybe mom's boyfriend. Maybe he had access to the 10-year-old some other way.
Maybe the mom took the girl to IN due to confusion over the law. It is new, after all. Plus, some politicians are on record saying that there is no exception in OH law for rape or incest.
No evidence of a rape surfaced at all until people began questioning the story. The OH AG stating on record that abortion under such circumstances is legal, so why did they go out of state for an abortion when it wasn't even necessary? Etc.
