That, and it may make exemptions difficult, to impossible, for some religious groups that oppose bc.

I don't agree with them, but I respect their right to believe what they will.

Which makes it even more puzzling why practically NO republican Congressmen would support a bill to that effect.

Read their laws a little more carefully. They do NOT ban abortion.

There's no need to. There is NO state that has a law banning contraception.

Nobody is talking about forcing anybody to use birth control. Geeze!

This is about keeping birth control meds and devices AVAILABLE nationwide.

because the way the stupid liberal politicians wrote the bill...... those politicians were set on calling it a federal right, than to actually write a law that made it legal and accessible.

making it a "right" is just stupid, and also unconstitutional....its like they WANT it to be shot down by SCOTUS

The right to contraception a federal law. Really? Federal? Still looking for daddy government to take care of you people?

Who was being denied contraception? Did people walk into the store to buy some, and they were told to 'Get out! You don't have the right to buy this!' Where was that happening? Links, please.

They do that all the time, and then stand in front of cameras saying, 'We tried, but those mean old Republicans don't care about you and your rights'. And the idiots on the left fall for it every time.

no, that bill is about posturing....

contraception, all contraception is available to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY, who goes to their doctor and get the script for it...... NO state, nor even the feds can outlaw it.... the ONLY thing that could happen could be a FDA classification if found to be unsafe

What law says a state cannot outlaw a drug or medical device?
