Other states (Texas) are also asking its residents to use power more efficiently.

It takes a bit of planning, especially with cars, but it isn't such a bad thing.
Convenience, at the end of the day, wins. If I have to plan trips and charging around a five hour window, that is not convenient, especially when I can fill my gasoline tank in five minutes, anytime I wish.

But, Californians are being asked not to charge their electric vehicles, at peak times, when electric vehicles make up a small percentage of the total vehicle fleet of Californians. What will they do when electric vehicles make up just a quarter of the vehicle fleet?

California has over thirty million registered vehicles. California does not produce enough electricity to charge thirty million electric vehicles.

Yes, yes it is. As the left like to say, context is everything.

Its trying to control your life it is a horrible thing. And maybe if they stopped forcing EVs on us the power grid would not get so overwhelmed for thing like this. And this is just for 2% of vehicles being EV. Imagine when that number jumps they will enslave the state to power lines.

Sick twisted evil socialists in the government there.

They will be able to completely dictate to you when you can drive and if you can drive.

Late on your taxes? No juice to your home charger and blacklisted at public ones. I am talking about it be8ng available but being able to control 100% who it flows to.

If anyone is unclear what one of the purposes of those "smart meters" the electric companies have been pushing for some time is, the answer is just over the horizon.

We have an energy crisis because of the unusual climate patterns.

In some cases it freezes an electrical grid, cutting off people from all power.
Sometimes it is gas shortages.

And sometimes it is asking people to plan ahead and use their energy more efficiently.

Texas Republicans have been asking their residents for years to use their power more efficiently.

But California does -and you all freak out.

It makes no sense.

They are asking to plan ahead. You are driving home and notice you need to charge...wait until 9:30 to plug in when you get home.f Of course if you NEED to right away -- go ahead but plan accordingly.

Can you imagine the outages if just a quarter of Californians drove electric vehicles? States that intend to go "green" with their energy grids need to sort through their problems before they mandate that everyone purchase something for which their is not enough electricity to power...

From the article:
I wonder if it is starting to sink in yet that people have been duped with "climate change".

I doubt it. They are too busy getting their next vaccine hit to think about climate change.

The same logic used in California is being applied nationwide by our Energy Secretary, and is spreading to other states that are run by people who use the same logic.

That is why we "freak out". We are thinking ahead to when these same policies are on our doorsteps...
