A friend of mine bought a Mercedes diesel car some years ago. They get better mileage than a gasoline car, but not that much better.
Here in California:

Regular:$5.752
Mid: $5.959
Premium: $6.099
Diesel: $6.455

3.29 gas? LOL, thanks to Vegas and their unwavering Dem support from Californicators the lowest we've seen gas in N NV has been 4.64. Sisolini and company made sure we were second only to CA in gas prices. . We're at 5.20 something now. Diesel is crowding and over 6.00 in most places. Thus groceries are plumb insane.

I see you're in AL. My sister just pulled up stakes and moved there. Mainly because of cost of living. I just recently lost a leg and am on a fixed income. I barely make it through month to month. But it's not like I can afford to move anywhere that is cheaper. (sigh) Thank you so much Bidenettes.

Joe Biden and Democrats want this crisis, as 1) they love misery, and 2) they think it helps them bolster their ‘green energy’ argument.

that is exactly what they are doing....

divide everyone up into little groups....turn they against each other

create such big problems....that only more government can fix them

25 days is non sense. Look at daily production and consumption numbers. If there is a shortfall then the supply could be considered to cover that little difference amount. But production is being ramped up. This is nothing more than anti Joe fear mongering. Just like the SOR fear bantered about. If we ever get into a situation where the only available oil is from the SOR we will be SOL for other reasons. MORE Oil will always be produced.

So it's going to be pricey this year. Last year I paid $3.40/gallon and it was a mild winter. Hoping for another mild winter this season.

Home heating oil prices wax and wane, just like gasoline prices. Some years heating oil has been lower than the price of gasoline, sometimes, like this year, much higher. It's always a crap shoot.

Usually HHO and diesel track each other very closely because the two are only subtly different.

They can/will place blame on "greedy" corporations and big oil, to pass a windfall tax, further destroying the economy.
