Tucker covered much of this last night and this is a much watch. The United States certainly might not have enough heating oil and diesel to get through the winter.

Just so people don't realize the crisis here, the Biden Administration came out yesterday and said they don't have a plan a diesel crisis. There literally is going to be no diesel, even no supply to pull out of a reserve.

You guys realize this is the same as it has been for the past 30 years or so, right?

“There’s not a need,” said Weaver Hawkins. “We’re not running out in 25 days. Please don’t panic buy because that will upset the recovery as far as the supply and demand goes.”

Article from Nov. 6th still citing 25 days of diesel.

My stepson manages the night shift of a local truck stop. They are having delays in getting diesel fuel.

Yawn... sensationalist headlines... we are not close to "running out of diesel" and if supply continues to go down, the prices in a free market will go up to compensate.

Diesel supply is low, but as you can see it sits in a range from 25-50 days. Wake me up if it gets down to 10-15 days. That would suggest there are price controls are being used because it makes no sense to use up the supply without prices rising. We've hit 30 days of supply numerous times in the last decade alone.

Think of diesel fuel supply of a water barrel, with a spigot at the bottom and a garden hose supplying fresh water at the top. The barrel will never run empty unless someone turns off the hose, and even then it would take 25 days before it ran dry.

Guess what our supply of gasoline is? Less than 25 days. Why aren't you worried about that?

This thread was started 16 days ago. Do posters really believe there are only 9 days of diesel fuel left?
