The Gaza Strip is now the largest concentration camp in the world. The situation grows steadily more insufferable for the 1.5 million Palestinians who live there. Deliveries of food, medicine and fuel are made difficult or stopped altogether. Child malnutrition is increasing. Water supplies and drainage have ceased to function. Children die for lack of healthcare. Tunnels to Egypt, dug by hand, are the only breathing space. Journalists and diplomats are denied entry. Israel is planning more military efforts.
The whole civilized world is calling for the blockade to be lifted.

What about the rest of the world? Why arent they clamoring for Israel to improve things? I am a long time supporter of Palestinian Independence but the US gets in trouble everytime we even look at that part of the world. Cant the Palestinians take their grievance to the UN?

they've done that hundreds of times, but the USA as a part of the Israeli/US axis always vetoes any UN Security Council resolutions that might try to stop any of this.

The question of Palestine is a valid one, and the way Israel has gone about it is barbaric.
But then, so were the Palestinians dancing in the streets after 9/11.
Nonetheless, it is between Israel and Palestine. The US ultimately has nothing to do with it. Israel will do what Israel will do....the US doesnot control Israel. Nor does Israel control the US.

Nothing will dissuade people sometimes. Here is the info that shows the USA does have something to do with it, Israel only does what it does because the US will cover for it, and the US and Israel are in an axis.
