What's shameful is that some ignorat Americans choose to support terrorist over nations friendly to our own.

Yeah, so? We give ish-loads of Aid to Africa too. Not exactly a paradise of economic innovation. Nevermind Palestine...

Here's food for thought: Maybe success comes from actually working hard and making friends, not bitching about how life is "unfair".....

All the money that we've given to Africa was for aid and never for them to fight with us in battle. At least we get something in return there. Where is our return on the money that went to Egypt?

Some people have questioned if "Some Americans" were more committed to what is in the best interest of The State of Israel or what is in the best interest of the United States of America and their fellow American citizen. From reading the responses to this post, now I know the answer.

No,the problem is that we have countries that are willing to stand side by side to go to war with us and there are countries that we help and get nothing in return. We have given federal aid to a ton of countries but you seem to pick on one------showing your specific agenda!

I have done mine too------exposed an Anti-Semetic individual.

US aid to Israel (both economic and military) has never exceeded 4% of Israel's GDP, while a massive reduction or elimination of the aid would be felt, Israel is still very much a viable nation without US aid.

Israel sucks! You people who kiss their asses should take a trip there and realize that it is pretty much like a Third World country. People are rude, loud, arrogant, have no manners and live in fear everyday. If it is so good, I wonder why millions of Jews have relocated to NYC. An overrated Third World desert craphole.

What I find funny is that you probably believe your own junk.

However, just for a brief moment of reality in your dark world:

For eight business executives and utility officials from Georgia visiting Israel this week, the Jewish state represents opportunities for business partnerships and elevating Atlanta’s international profile.

“We’re really looking for a lot of high-tech investment. If that’s what you’re looking for, Israel is one of the places you need to visit,” said John Oxendine, Georgia’s Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.

He joins Georgia Power officials, as well as leaders in green energy, water conservation and telecommunications.

Despite the long-running conflict with Palestinians that sometimes strains the Israeli economy, Israel’s technology sector has emerged as among the world’s most innovative.

“We’re looking for opportunities for partnerships but also looking for the creativity they have here,” said Ervan Hancock III, manager of renewable and green strategies for Georgia Power Co.
