Their Paranoia is incredible. Let them believe the "Far right" boogey men are out to get them. They are the type of people that usually have few friends because they are so sensitive.
Please explain how we are so sensitive? I recall me saying this person should not be punished or have a lawsuit against Walmart. If I'm saying the person shouldn't be punished that means this shouldn't be labeled as any type of crime...hate or otherwise. I did say that people should boycott Walmart if they feel this behavior is inappropriate or unprofessional. That makes me sensitive? I think that makes me wise shopper who doesn't want to shop at a place that has these type of antics
Nonetheless, your hypocrisy was on display. Maybe you should remember this incident the next time you accuse a liberal of being too p.c.

Ok, it was the store's fault. In fact I think it was Sammy himself who was on the PA system.
Typical overreaction from the P.C. crowd. It was just another dumb teenage prank. We've all done dumb things as kids. Now watch Walmart get sued by these idiots claiming how much the announcement physically and mentally traumatized them for life.
Of course. At this very moment, African-Americans from coast to coast are so traumitized that they are foaming at the mouth, tearing their hair out, and preparing to leap off of tall buildings.
Best to get some shrinks in there. Lawyers too. No justice, no peace.
All "hate" crime legislation should be repealed. WHY someone committed an illegal act should be irrelevant. It should be the action of breaking that law that gets punished, not what the person was thinking or saying at the time.
Motive is already taken into account in many other types of charges, and this has been in place for a long. long time in most nations whose laws are based upon English Common Law.
Hate crime laws ensure that people who are abused due to being different have a fighting chance in areas where the local authorities may (and have) turned a blind eye.
Also, another driving ideology behind hate crime laws is that hate crimes are considered to cause damage to society as well as the actual target(s). In other words, hate crimes can lead to greater civil unrest.

I can see your point for a place such as South Africa.

We need a national day of healing. Maybe Obama could get the prankster(s) and the traumatized victims together for a beer summit.

I laughed out loud when I saw your post...somewhere Al and Jesse are marshalling their media machine, getting ready to shout 'this is an OUTRAGE! He should be tarred and feathered!'...
Dude, please...this was a stupid prank, that required either a stern warning or (as I suggested in post #73) the guy being terminated---NOT some overblown PC media circus, full of hot air, faux outrage from both sides, and (wait for it) cries of 'racist!' and I'm NOT a racist!...quit being a victim'...I'm getting too old for that kind of stuff
This incident was offensive. Accusing people of being too sensitive doesn't seem to be a well thought out sentiment. Whether one finds the statement "All White people must leave the store now" is immaterial to the situation at hand. That wasn't what was said. This country has a history of bigotry and racist attitudes toward African Americans. One doesn't have to be Black to find that notion offensive. I'm not Black but I find that statement to be offensive. And I'm guessing most White people also find that offensive. I think the OP needs spend some time reflecting on this issue.
