I actually forget. I think it IS off of 5th but nowhere near the entrance more like way at the end of the development on the corner of 58th?.

At the time there were no vehicles in it but I thought it was a good idea. It's like a .....square helicopter pad type of thing but with parking spaces LOL.

I'll look later, I drive down 5th every day.

I was looking at a house in Citrus Springs and went through the entire development. The RV parking lot is at the Oslo Rd. entrance which is more or less the "back" door. It's noticeable if there are large RVs or boats parked but not unattractive. There's a berm and a wall surrounding it. It's also a good thing if you have an RV or boat!

You can't really judge the Vero Beach area by the town's population. The town itself is a small geographic area, but the population of the whole county is 140,000, with Vero Beach its main town. With that population, the area supports a lot more businesses, restaurants, etc, than just the town population of 15,000 would indicate.

Exactly.

I just went by and realized why I didn't remember seeing it because it's not that easy to "see" when driving around in there, entering off 5th. LOL

Citrus Springs is nice! It was peaceful and pretty even though they are still building over by the main area off 5th.

There are some older subdivisions with more mature trees than CS or Legend Lakes etc, but it's a trade off.

I think one around there that is very mature is called The Crossing? Off 4th? That's nice, too and very small by comparison.

True, but my point was comparing ANYTHING in the Dallas/Ft Worth MSA that has 6 MILLION people in the census to Indian River county with 150,000 doesn't make alot of sense.

Aside from the MSA and how Dallas is a national destination for business..Plano itself has 267,000 people compared to Vero with 15,000.

We drove past Citrus Springs today on 5th St SW, and I did not see the RV lot at all. They have a good screening of trees along the road.

Yeah the RV lot is actually at the Oslo entrance

Here's the pic I took for the poster who asked about it.

RV lot gate you can see a boat in there:

Big empty space surrounding the RV lot:

Here's the entrances on 5th (north and south entrances) for comparison - you can tell the Oslo entrance with the lot is more of a construction/undeveloped entrance:

Thanks for the photos! The 5th entrance is certainly prettier, but the berm, wall and landscaping do improve the Oslo entrance by somewhat hiding the boats and vehicles.

I live in Citrus Springs if you want some specific information. There are really 9 villages, I think, within Citrus Springs. Been here 4 years. We live on the north side; one of 3 small villages with a pool, clubhouse with excersise equipment and then in the main village an enormous pool, clubhouse and tennis courts. You'd never know there was an RV lot; it's set away from the homes.
Send me an email and I can give you a ton of information.
