THAT dude just sounds like he's just jaded against the whole online dating thing. Again, looking at things objectively, maybe you should have addressed your note with "Hey {dudes name}" instead of "hey you".

I know sooooo many people who met on Match and ended up getting married and many now have kids together. Dont know what is going on with them now.

I don't know his name so I couldn't insert it. But there's serious issues going on match right now..
