What I mean is that when it come sto choosing a partner for life, while subjective attraction is important, it's not the only or even the main factor.
You mean physical attraction? If so, then I agree. It's certainly an initial component/requirement, but there are many other ingredients in the pot that make a marriage.

I mean physical attarction plus chemistry. I think that while that combination is very important women also tend to look at other more pragmatic factors (financial security being one of them). The again I'm not a woman.
Being rich comes down to Saving and Investments mainly. People who think that a guy making $60K driving an expensive luxury car may not be rich. Infact he might be in debt. Guy making $30K a year maybe drive a modest car and paid cash for it, therefore have more assets in value.
BUT there are women out there where their agenda is a man with substantial assets (I have personally known a few.)
I'm a guy, but there are a number of women whose primary agenda is to land the "bank account" so they can spend it without having to work a day. I see it in my extended family, at least 3 female relatives only dated guys who had the import car (German), the business or high paying job and the bank account to go with it, sheeple were beneath them. Today, two of them are at home raising families and spending the cash. The other married and got divorced.
