I'm not cpg, but I'd bet he means that people need to live interesting lives doing things they enjoy because it interests them, not just things they do to pick up dates. Please yourself first.

That makes sense. However, as was alluded to earlier, those interests may not always correspond with the interests of most women so doing things simply to please yourself, while a good thing, does not necessarily lead to RLs with MOTOS. I know all about that too well.

No, I like Ron. We have the same goal. We're just taking two different paths to get there, that's all. He thinks a guy has to have certain hobbies and interests, e.g. HIS OWN, to have success with women. I say, you can have ABSOLUTELY NO INTERESTS of your own, as long as your focus... is on HER interests.

One way to increase your self-esteem is to become competent in as many areas as possible.

See, competence in a task or skill is what provides self-esteem.

This is why you have confidence as a photographer - because you have worked at it long enough to become very competent!

So, work on other challenges that you can become competent at doing and you will watch your self-esteem grow and grow

Hope some of you will reread this.

You're a woman... can you tell us what is most important TO YOU... your interests or someone else's, e.g. your husbands?

I am a well balanced woman , which means I am in tune with my own needs/interests and those of my husband pretty equally.

However, in our marriage we have committed to working at each putting the others interests first, that way we both get our needs met

do something for yourself

Go to school, get a degree or another one. Buy new wardrobe, shave, cut your hair, join a sports team. Accomplish something
