I am deathly afraid of getting older. It seems that when a woman approaches 30, she is no longer valuable or desirable to men as younger girls are. They'll just toss me aside and start chasing after 19 year olds. This is a very depressing state. If I get married, will my husband still lust after me or will he want to trade me in for a 20 year old??
This seems to be a common fear with women that as they get older men will desire them less. There are plenty of women I have met who are 30 and beyond who are very attractive. It is all about your personality and how well you click, regardless of age.
I think the problem that plagues both men and women as they age is that they just let themselves go. Unless you have health issues or a disability, it isn't that hard to take care of yourself. Watch what you eat, get some exercise, stretch a few times a week, use sunscreen, don't smoke and you'll continue to look good well into your 30s and beyond.

One theory/hope that guys who suck with women hold on to is that women will get older and eventually the point will come where looks/height will be less important to them and the guys will finally have a little more success.
Well. I'm in my 30s and I haven't seen this happen. And apparently from posts here, it doesn't happen in your 40s or 50s either. Or 60s. So rest easy OP. You'll likely have your pick of options for the rest of your life.

Absolutely not. The only way that will happen is if you let yourself go. By that, I mean let yourself get fat, stop taking care of your hair, dress frumpy, etc.
I see women in the 30s and beyond who get MORE attention from men than to the 18-22 year old women. Why? Because they take very good care of themselves and take pride in their appearance.
