Zonabebe- I have never known a single person to have their child in those pageants or modeling here in the south. I think that is just plain creepy across the country...north to south, east to west.
My first wife was from Massachusetts.
My second wife was from Oklahoma.
My third wife is from New Orleans.
It's a good thing number three worked out, because if the pattern held true, I would have had to go to Venezuela to find my next one.

As a person who goes from the northeast down to florida quite often and meets lots of people here's my opinion.
Around south carolina to georgia you hit upon an large area of almost stepford acting wives. .Overly sweet, syruppy. Even people who move into those states start to adopt the accents(almost like they were replaced by pod people) so instead of meeting mean, nasty or curt adulterers out in clubs and such, you meet adultarers who say things like "how you all doin?", or "why bless your lil heart!" the women do dress better, wear more make-up but in a less hot way. Kinda churchly pretty.
if you travel further south to florida you suddenly meet tons of transplanted people a lot being from New York and it all seems back to normal.
I have heard from many of my Yankie guy friends, that yes, there is a huge difference. Southern women take more time on appearance, hair, nails and makeup, etc. Southern woman also seem more laid back and much more approachable and wayyyy less b*tchy . But Yankie men are much different than Southern men....oh yes...they are wayyyy different as well...Some good, some bad lol.
I am from the North but my whole family is from the south so I would kinda consider myself alittle southern, but what i need is a southern boy. how are they different? I have lived in Indiana my whole life, thats all ive known is northern boys, i want a southern boy but whats the difference?
