So you do not know his family. They don't know about you. You have not spend Christmas OR New Years with him? This sounds like he has another girl somewhere. Very fishy.

Sounds like it to me.

Wouldn't be surprised if that "ex" is still spending a lot of time on that uh, co leased apartment.

As a MIL I would much, much rather "meet" my new DIL via video chat rather than through a FB message or email. Or, if video chatting doesn't work (for example he doesn't have a computer or a smart phone -which is rather unlikely) all he needs to do is hand his cell phone to Mom and Dad and you can chat on the phone. (BTW, I met my actual DIL when my son brought her home, 2,000 miles, as a very serious GF "to meet Mom and Dad").

I am very glad that he informed his work that he is married. You can sometimes use an email from the Human Resources department saying that your insurance has already started (or the date that it will start) before you receive the official cards from the insurance company. That way you can set up doctor and dentist appointments for the future.

I was so concerned about your situation that I had multiple dreams (nightmares) about it last night. I really hope that everything works out for you. Please keep us posted.
Belle, Germaine has a good idea here. You know the company he works for, why not call HR and ask when you'll get your insurance cards? At the very least you'll be able to get some medical and dental appointments in.

Hes an auditor and I am not totally 100 percent sure what he does but a lot of it is about closing out books for companies. I don’t do that kind of work so I am not sure but sometimes they do work overtime and he does travel but normally he’s off for holidays like thanksgiving and Christmas

I am I am waiting for the card but I may call. I still have to get my leg looked at and see what they can do because I still have problems with it. It’s important to him that I get it fixed to it’s actually a goal for both of us. He wants me to start feeling better.

Auditors may actually work on New Years BUT, he would be able to spend the night with you?

What is wrong with your leg?

This can't be real. If so, he used the "court marriage" to keep you on tap. Sorry to be crude but in spirit you are not married. You are simply in the same position as you were before. He's just using you. I hope you get some sort of financial security out of this if you work at McDonalds.

I have talked about it before. Years ago an ex beat me badly and I ended up in the hospital. My leg was hurt and it never healed right and I stood on it and did other stuff which made it worse. To get it fixed I will maybe have to see a specialist and have surgery but I won’t know until I have it looked at again. It gets bad and bcc I was in fast food for so long running around on it it made it worse. I have good and bad days.

I don’t know why no one believes me but we did get legally married. I was there so I know. I’m not stupid.

Belle, I know you said you don't see him everyday but are you at least talking on the phone daily? I think it's very odd he wasn't with his wife on New Years Eve. No way an auditor works on New Years Eve.

Are you sure his ex-gf is out of the picture?
