Belle, I know you said you don't see him everyday but are you at least talking on the phone daily? I think it's very odd he wasn't with his wife on New Years Eve. No way an auditor works on New Years Eve.
Are you sure his ex-gf is out of the picture?
We do try to talk and text every day. The ex is for sure out and was before he contacted me on FB. That’s a long story but basically she was all drama. He broke up with her not the other way around.
I am I am waiting for the card but I may call. I still have to get my leg looked at and see what they can do because I still have problems with it. It’s important to him that I get it fixed to it’s actually a goal for both of us. He wants me to start feeling better.
If you got married in November you should have your card by now. I would call today so you have it in case you need it.
I did but I still need to change my ID. Yes I took his last name.
Google says that "most states prefer that you change your name on your Driver's License within 30 days of your marriage". Some states require that you change your name on your Social Security card first. You will need your marriage certificate (and maybe other information) to do either of those things.
With Hubby out of town you may have time to do some of the "paperwork" things today, like calling HR about your insurance cards, making doctor and dentist appointments and getting started on your new SS card and/or Driver's License/State ID.
Belle, Germaine has a good idea here. You know the company he works for, why not call HR and ask when you'll get your insurance cards? At the very least you'll be able to get some medical and dental appointments in.
You don't physically need the cards. If coverage started January 1, all you need to know is the corporate group plan on your spouse's card. You can call the 800 number on the card and confirm that you've been added. The insurance company will have her SSN if she's been added.

She doesn't have the card so doesn't have the phone number or the group number. Thus the suggestion to call HR.
I don’t know why no one believes me but we did get legally married. I was there so I know. I’m not stupid.
If it was a courthouse marriage, I can see him going through the ceremony but not taking the final step, like filing the paperwork or completing the forms. Do you have the actual, physical, Certificate of Marriage in-hand ?
