Musilm Americans are among our most successful citizens. They are better educated and wealthier than most non-Muslim Americans. As a result, they are exceedingly difficult to radicalize, unlike many European Muslims.

It is inherently impossible to "ban" a group based on ideology because you can't accurately determine what is in between their ears. Muslim jihadists will simply dress in western clothes and claim not to be Muslim. Real Muslims identified via profiling (e.g., they wear Muslim garb) will be the only ones actually excluded, and the vast, vast majority of those are harmless and even fine people.

Mr Trump is simply preying on your primal fears, confirmation bias, and xenophobia ... and you're letting him. Even Bush the Lesser was a self-styled "uniter, not a divider" but Trump wants to make us a nation of fearful otherizers. Shame on you for supporting his hateful rhetoric. He is actually supporting and fostering terrorism by encouraging people to be terrorized and divided.
Typical liberal idiocy!

Fundamentalist ideologues feed hate of the LGBTQ community. He was am American Muslim homophobe.

He did not come here to kill us. Unless, being born in NY is a crime. He was an American citizen.

He was an American Muslim fundamentalist ideologue, with much in common with American Christian fundamentalist ideologues when it comes to your LGBTQ brothers and sisters.

Mr Trump is not correct. He will never be President. He is a dishonest person playing to the fears of ignorant fundamentalist ideologues.

In the 60's the ideologues cried.... The Russians are coming, The Russians are coming! We are not going back there.

He was a domestic American terrorist in the same vein of Robert Dear, and Dylan Roof, and Timothy McVeigh. Home grown.

Believe me Jimmy Jon, one day, when maturity sets in and you begin to see the world as a CREATION OF GOD and see PEOPLE as NEIGHBORS, you will be able to rid yourself of that FEAR and XENOPHOBIA..

BUT--Just in case you are right--

DO YOU NOT HAVE ENOUGH FAITH IN YOUR PITIFUL GOD TO PROTECT YOU FROM THE BIG BAD RADICAL ZEALOTS??

Are you claiming he wasn't born in NYC and an American citizen ?

The death of Christ fulfilled the purpose of that law and we are saved by grace, not strict obedience to a set of rules. Therefore, sin can be forgiven and a person renewed spiritually.

Disgusting lie. I don't believe it's is the duty of a faith follower to behead, torture, rape and murder those who are not members of the faith.

Your attacks are tiresome. Making up insults and lies about someone which you do here, is my definition of being mean. I will NEVER respect you or take anything you post seriously as long as you persist in spewing hate rhetoric and disrespect.

Considering the source, it has to be a pile of garbage. I'll pass. See what happens when you are not nice to people?
Do you or do you not agree the bible calls for death to those "abominations?" Do you or do you not agree with your god's perfect "word." If you agree with it what is different between you and that mass murderer who carried out those godly executions. If you don't then you are admitting much in your perfect "word" is so much BS.

Either way you look like either an azz or the putrid hypocrite you frequently portray to us.

The disgusting self-serving selective literalism you practice is shameful.

Once again--educate yourself so you aren't trapped in that fundamentalist swamp you are in.

Try this book:
INSPIRATION AND INCARNATIONS and the Problem of the Old Testament,by Peter Enns who writes in his forward:

"Rather than supporting a suspicious or defensive posture, Inspiration and Incarnation has helped students resolve at least some tensions between their faith in God and modern scholarship by showing that many of the “problems” allegedly caused by the modern study of Scripture are really problems with faulty expectations of how the Bible “should” work perpetuated within evangelicalism."

You've once again been given an opportunity.
"Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh;" Genesis 6:3a

This man was a self loathing, closeted gay man taking out his rage on the innocent. This was his internal conflict, and had nothing to do with Islam.

He's talking about God's judgement, not man's.

How much more plain does it have to be to get it through your head that he does not want harm to come to gay people?

Here , Jeff , are the comments by Pastor Curtis Knapp . Listen and then come back and try to claim he was simply misunderstood here .

"Knapp went on to read from Leviticus 20: “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death.”

“They should be put to death,” Knapp declared. “‘Oh, so you’re saying we should go out and start killing them, no?’ — I’m saying the government should. They won’t, but they should.”

“You say, ‘Oh, I can’t believe you, you’re horrible. You’re a backwards neanderthal of a person.’ Is that what you’re calling scripture? Is God a neanderthal, backwards in his morality? Is it His word or not? If it’s His word, he commanded it. It’s His idea, not mine. And I’m not ashamed of it.”

“He said put them to death,” he continued. “Shall the church drag them in? No, I’m not say that. The church has not been given the power of the sort; the government has. But the government ought to [kill them]. You got a better idea? A better idea than God?”

Here is the actual audio of the sermon in context , if you dare to listen Jeff. It's the same as the transcript above, in which he challenges people to take issue with his call for the government to kill them , because it's Gods word , not his, that demands it . So his explanation later on is complete BS . But listen for yourself , and then be honest in what you think he actually meant .

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uqKRXXHvRCw

So now what Jeff ? He himself doesn't want the church to be the ones doing the killing, so he actually loves gays? But he just wants the government to kill them, so he's not really hateful and homophobic if the government does the killing ?

He was an American citizen born in the U.S. Are you going to build a wall around NYC to corral the "immigrants"?

Exactly. They always find some way to blame Christians for everything. This guy wasn't radicalized by Christians. It was ISIS.

I bet they think we caused global warming too.
