Also, this is just city growth. Metro growth was twice this number.
Good grief. They were just being funny.

I had to wait at least 30 seconds for oncoming traffic, trying to turn left into Billy Bobs Burgers in Hondo last Saturday. What's the world coming to?

Hate what the traffic in SA has become the last 20 yrs. People can't follow basic rules or just do not care.

Seriously been considering moving in the next yr or two to a smaller town, either close enough to commute to, or changing jobs. The growth around here is nuts.

Why must you be negative all the time about this? San Antonio continues to grow the economy, wages, buying power and that results in amenities for us natives. FYI live inside 1604 and you traffic pattern on freeways has not changed from Bandera to FM 78 for about 5 years or 250,000 people added. (Buying a house is an issue for sure)

I do. I leave 281 and Thousand Oaks and I go out to 151 and Westover Hills. Mornings are fine, evenings were challenging but the 151/410 flyover was built and knocked off 15 minutes. That said, we need 1604 to be fixed ASAP.

I just don't care for the rapid and excessive growth. I know some people love and rave about it but I am just not in that group.

The good thing is that I don't have to stay in San Antonio area if it becomes too much for me. That day may come sooner than later.

Live near your job and stop crying about traffic. Or move to Podunk.

I really am not sure what they’re gonna do about 1604. There is no way the city will help fund $2billion to expand the northern half of 1604. It’s probably going to be the first tolled freeway. Traffic is really insane especially on weekends leading up to holidays like today.

No relief will start until 2020.

That is like me saying go live where fireworks are not allowed and stop crying about them but your advice is noted.

Yes because fireworks caused by rude neighbors at 3am is totally the same as choosing to sit in traffic because I don't live near my job. Totally. Keep trying, Scooter.
