quality guy, I and others posted, the first week, about Ricki's chances to win. I still think JR has the inside edge but it's more because of his story and how much the voting audience loves him -- he's a good dancer, but not the best.

This season is SO much like Season 3, when Emmitt Smith won over Mario Lopez. Emmitt is a very good dancer but Mario was maybe the best dancer ever on DWTS. Yet Emmitt had such a great fan base that he won. Mario didnt take it well at all that night and said some very unprofessional things in his interview on the show.

I think all the stars this season are very professional. But sometimes it's more entertaining when they arent. I'll never forget Mario's statements.

I know you're zeroing in on technique, but I'm of the strong opinion that the grace and deep feelings with which J.R. and Karina 'grab' their audience with, in their dances, pushes J.R to the Top of them all.

The combination of all the ingredients of quality....J.R. transmits in his dancing...is, beyond any doubt...the Best! My honest opinion!

J.R. Martinez is the most elegant dancer on that floor!

The two sentences he said on national TV that I'll never forget were:

"I was the best dancer of all. I thought this was a dancing contest, not a popularity contest."

And he said it in a very harsh way.

I agree about the special guest, tami!! I usually dont even watch the performers on the results shows but, thank goodness, I wanted to watch Len do the twist.

OMG, I am just going crazy with these two hours! It was so good seeing last night's dances again. This is the best DWTS season I have witnessed!
