You guys are funny! but still cordial ;-)!!

But just what i needed after a long day, a shot in the arm of restrained hilarious laughter.

In a optimistic vein! I hope that T.V.S. guy had a good interview today. It is Thursday, the last day of intended interviews...;-)

And MI.mom that you have recv'd your E.B benefits!

Hopefully, we will all get what we wish for!

I also noticed that according to the article that if passed this would not go into effect until next year.

Hello,

Everybody that is laid off and collecting unemployment that goes back to school President Obama will continue your benefits through out your training. At least that is what he said today on television today! Check out the following website:

What do you think about this?

IMO it is nothing new, well at least for me.

First, since Ronald Reagan, financial aid is not free money for school, but LOANS!!

Pell Grants maximums have been lowered since Ronald Regan so that you can only make 10 thousand dollars or less to qualify, with FEW exceptions.

Lastly, the worker retraining program are for people who need retraining, usu. targeted to people whose jobs have gone the way of the Buffalo or never went to school, or never finished school or never got a bachelors or masters or don't have a vocational degree with job growth.

There is no extra money, besides the worker retraining programs which were started by Clinton but receiving renewed support by Obama.

He is just stating the obvious, which anyone who has visited their One Stop Career Center, which all people looking for JOB, should obviously do, would already know about this program!!

cheers
