Severe Watch likely for Thunderstorms. I see a line forming down there. Usually the case with a big storm spinning counterclockwise. Severe to southeast of storm, heavy snow on northwest side.
Interesting, thanks. Quite the difference in temperatures in the midwest today. Currently 70 F/21 C and raining in Des Moines, IA but 34 F/1 C in Minneapolis. And of course the heavy snow in other parts of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Another snowstorm in 4 days. Minnesota & Wisconsin up next for heavy snow and localized Blizzard conditions. Thursday morning on left moves out and another moves in for Friday morning. It might actually be snowing for 24hrs in spots. Bad commute day coming up in upper midwest. Iowa in the battle zone.
