I think it has something to do with where you were raised.
If you were raised in Minnesota you probably like the cold over someonew who was raised in sounthern california.
I was raised in the Great Lakes and I'm still happiest at 75+ F, with or without high humidity.
I've never lived anywhere else.
Most people from southern California like less heat than me; 98 F is a good daytime high IMHO.

I have to disagree. You either like the cold or you don't. If you're from Minnesota and hate the cold, that will make you want to get out of Minnesota. People from California that like the cold will just move somewhere cold.

^^
Probably true.
I would have moved immediately after highschool if immigration wasn't an issue.
I am looking forward to subzero temperatures at the end of next week. I checked the models and it finally shows that annual Siberian plunge for New England. Most of the arctic air has been in the Upper Midwest and Northern Plains so far this winter.

I was raised in East Texas, lived most of my life in Houston where it's hot and LOVE cold weather.
I've lived most of my life in the cold and snow. I much prefer the warm weather. If I could sell my house I would move home to TX in a heartbeat. Anything under 75 is too cold in my opinion. I dont seem to have a problem with staying cool enough in the hot weather. I have a problem staying warm though. No matter how many clothes I put on I can feel the cold in my bones.

Oh I would trade with you in a heartbeat!! No matter how many clothes I take off in the summer, I can never get cool!!!!
This is an old thread! I love the cold weather. I have no idea why some people don't like it. Doesn't bother me a bit!
