Description: First Night was first held in 1994. Activities abound, including lantern-making classes for kids, acoustic acts, improvisational comedy, ballet performances, dancing, and a fireworks display over Vineyard Haven Harbor. The majority of activities are held in Vineyard Haven. Recent First Night celebrations attracted as many as 2,500 spectators and more than 200 performers.
