Venice, FL Rated #7 In Southern Livings Magazine As One Of The Best Places To Retire

Posted 08-24-2016 at 01:55 PM by Daniel_Larson

Hello All,

I find it amazing that my sleepy little city of Venice, FL was rated at #7 as one of the best places to retire. I would have to agree Venice is a pretty amazing place, we have such a great little downtown area with some amazing restaurants, gift shops & some great events throughout the year. I personally wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

Our Little Sister (2015), Hirokazu Koreeda movie of the week

Definitely one of my favorite directors. And to see one of his films on the big screen was very exciting. I've now seen all of his feature films from 1995 to the present - 10 films - all of them are five stars. No hesitation.

The Steel Helmet (1951), Samuel Fuller rewatch
