1 Timothy 1:5 - "The goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."

It has become a popular saying that we should not seek the gifts, but the Giver. This sounds noble, but it is contrary to the Word of God which exhorts us to "pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts" (1 Corinthians 14:1).

Love is the foundation upon which spiritual authority, and, thereby, the gifts of the Spirit, operates....

I'll just be all over the place in the course of the next week. Austin, East Texas, Fort Worth, Granbury. And Ol' Case will just be soaking it all in.
