It's not that I am jealeous for not being there. I am elswhere and nature provides both beautiful and threathening shows of awe. But you have mountains and forests and rivers. Just so different and beautifull.

Guess I've been getting a little behind here. With all of the hot weather lately, it's hard to believe these were taken less than two weeks ago (5/28) up north along the Dalton.

Love the last one! The rocks tilted... just like the Medicine Bow in Wyoming that I roamed around in couple of years ago.

That's called (appropriately) Slope Mountain. There is a DOT road maintenance camp and a Pump Station in that area. Also, there was a pipeline construction camp in that area back in the '70s.
