From what I have heard/read, they lost their investors. They had already put signage up too at both entrances. Sounds like it's definitely not going to happen from Heritage USA now.

too bad, I was hoping it would get a new life. But then again, the theme is from a time many don't even remember.

Yeah, but Heritage USA was not going to continue the characters that Dogpatch was built around. It was just going to be a family friendly theme park in the ozarks.

Eh, leave that stuff for Branson right up the road. I like the Arkansas Ozarks the way they are.

I'm not into theme parks much. The land there is so amazingly beautiful, especially with the huge natural spring and the water alongside the rock bluffs. If I had the money, I'd want to make it into a large campground with some horse stables. We don't really have enough camping areas around whether it's tent or campers. I can't seem to find several million for that though.

I didn't know that. As foe theme parks, my days are way over for the thrill of riding a roller coaster or getting stuck at the top of a farris wheel, and I have better things to do with my money, but I do remember when our kids were little, a place like Disneyland was heaven and I too loved those days. Now my great grandkids are enjoying them.

Was super impressed. Can't wait to talk to our family about what they thought as they do have season tickets. As for the game: favored by 35, that is just what they won by. No, it wasn't the perfect game, but it was the first and I am sure, as the season moves on they will look smoother.
