restrictor plate races by nature tend to be boring until you get down to the last 10 or so laps. and that can be the last few laps of each segment as well, but they are not quite as rivetting as the end of the race.

there was in this race however, a bit more excitement(if you can call it that) as there were more lead changes than a normal plate race, and a lot of position changes in the pack as well. it was unfortunate that the caution fell after they took the white flag though, it would have been nice to see a couple of overtime periods, maybe suarez could have gotten back up front and contended for the win.

for the first time in a long time, Sunday PM was beautiful.
spent most of it outside with tools which drowned out the radio.

Missed the race on Sunday. I usually make it a point to watch the Dega races every year but I promised the kids a trip to see the new Avengers. Glad to see Chase get the win. Good for the sport when the "fan favorite" gets the win every now and then.

Default Dover Practice

Lots of drivers saying how much faster Dover seems with new package.

martin truex jr led alex bowman, kyle larson, kevin harvick, and chase elliot to win the dover race today. good run martin.

on a side note kyle busch has just tied morgan shepherd with 11 top ten finishes to start the season. lets hope kyle can get in the top ten in kansas on saturday night to make it 12 in a row.

Kansas hasn't been kind to Kyle over the years.

But he does have 7 consecutive top 10's there.

That will be good if he intends to break the record of consecutive top 10's to start the year. He is currently tied with Morgan Shepard (11).
