Wad, bikes have always had to obey traffic laws. Just like cars.

So do you speed up a little bit when a pedestrian crosses the road too?

Maybe you will give them right of way in a cross walk with they have a license plate ?

Yes, I know that. HOWEVER, with more emphasis on a national plan maybe cops will start to enforce traffic law that cover bicycles that are already on the books.

If I had no car I guess I'd be using a horse and buggy like the old days.

Eh, you are the one that said that motorists pay for the roads not cyclists.

Even a person without a car pays property taxes and sales tax...and that funds roads.

So, they might be entitled to what you think you are entitled to.

Um, no. Fuel taxes fund the roads, not property taxes. So when the bike riders help fund the road, then consider a bike only lane.

When I pull up to a stop and a motorcycle is in front of me I can clearly see that he has paid his dues to ride on the road. I will patiently wait for him to move before I do.

When I pull up to a stop and some moron on a bicycle is in front of me I will lean on my horn until he moves and if he does not move I'll use the chrome horn to help him along.

And me as the person on the bicycle will intentionally move to the center of the lane and slow down since moron drivers apparently don't know where money for roads comes from.
