I wish they'd fire Richard Quest. What a PITA. There was more to that firing than just not being fashionable, like not showing up.

I like Mary the best too. There is one CNN reporter, don't know his name but he talks with his hands flying around while dramatically dipping his voice at key parts. He seems to be little strange.
Starting to really like Don Lemon.

Think so eh? Think cover-ups and governments and radical political entities do not exists do ya? The typical "bumper sticker" without thought, without debate, without and reason, response as often found on this site. If you believe this way, then why do we have a CIA? Why come here looking for answers at all, you already have all you need, via the media, right?

And if you want proof for this sort of cover up, look no further then the 1983 Korean Airline shot down by the Soviets and the cover up that ensued.

Nobody is stating anything here as fact. Just theory as it's all we have. But if you think it's so far fetched that some unscrupulous organization could not arrange to purchase a $68 (37.5MGH pinger) And secure it in a pressurized resistant, box, with a 30 day battery and fly it over the location reported in the media and let it drop, you are fooling yourself. Why would anyone do that? Well, you really need to read a little history and you can easily answer that one.

There are many who say our excursions to the moon, or landing on Mars are folly. But the small amount of money that goes into these programs versus the science which is advanced by these efforts is nearly immaterial.

The costs are virtually the same. Let them get some real experience, and hopefully make some individuals life just that much more at ease.
What do you think USN assets do when they are deployed during their normal rotation? Stop at exotic ports and catch embarrassing diesis ? Training is held during the at home cycle when deployed they prosecute "real" time targets all the time... Every single time a Navy Ship or Aircraft sorties they run the risk of injury or death. The more time they waste searching for a lost cause the higher the risk.....I spent to many years doing exactly what they have been doing not to know what I'm talking about....Here's a pic of my old office....

Meh, no more different than commercial airplanes that fly multiple destinations each day. Crews and aircraft need rest/maintenance/etc.

Whoah, isn't that what you are paid to do when you join the military - put yourself in harm's way for whatever mission your commanding officer sees fit to send you on?

In the news, Malaysia says the 777 flew to an altitude of 39,000 feet and held that altitude for 20 minutes. The service ceiling for that particular aircraft was 41,000 ft according to them, not 45,000 ft.

What could that mean? It says on CNN's site that the air search might be winding down. What are they even hoping to find at this point from the air They can't see into the water to look for wreckage, and any debris is long gone.
