The beliefs of these fundies is nothing short of scary and very troubling to any psychologically and spiritually mature mind. It is a sad commentary on humanity that such primitive and barbaric beliefs can be retained and survive in modern 21st century minds.

They have been misled and exploited by their religions to believe that evil is Good using the "precepts and doctrines of men" under the cloak of authority in the literal word "written in ink." They override what God has "written in their hearts" to excuse or explain this as God's justice or some such rationalization as "God's ways are not our ways." It is the saddest perversion of Christ's message and it has persisted for 2000+ years.

There is no hostility . . . but the corruption of Christ's message with the ancient ignorance about Jehovah is what causes Christians who understand our loving God and CHRIST's message of "Love God and each other" to recoil from the ancient ignorance about Jehovah.

And yes, it is not pleasant but we are warned by Jesus of those who will come and mock God in the last days..... and He will protect our hearts from the attacks and insults against Him !!!

It's toward what it believes,not the christian itself. It's well documented on here Finn, what you and many others actually think about UR and those of us who believe in it, you are just a lot more subtle with it nowadays.
The unpleasant place to be Finn at the end of day is what we are believing in our hearts, for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he(Proverbs 23:7). What you think about your God, you are . So do you think God's love, mercy and grace is limited, then for sure, according to Proverbs 23:7, so will your love,mercy and grace be too.If you believe his love,mercy and grace is not limited, then it's very likely that you will be too.
