We ultimately have everything that we need inside us. Exercising our spirit and faith is more significant than exercising our eyes, reading the Bible.

If people can't exist and worship without a Bible, then they've missed the boat, and the most important part. They are tiny babies spiritually, and will never grow or mature. Nursing on the Bible and not moving beyond that is akin to nursing on a pacifier.
Can’t we do both (bolded above)? I’ve been studying the Bible for 50+ years and still receive new insights. The words contained within are not just ink on paper, but the very breath of God.

Yeah, both are fine, but the time and focus needs to be on people and God, sharing what unique gifts and traits we have, contributing to life and the world, adding and not subtracting. Just as Jesus didn't spend a bunch of personal time by himself, we shouldn't either. It's about use.

It's too easy to get carried away with ourselves, thinking Bible time will help us, when the focus needs to be on others, and what we can contribute to other's lives, and how we can help God, as his "hands" down here.

Of course. I’m not advocating 23 hours a day studying scripture.

Most would agree that we as people are busier than ever, and weighed down with responsibilities and commitments and time-killers. So that already steals time away from sharing ourselves and what we could contribute. On top of that, the world is heavily screwed up, and decaying day by day.

Laying the Bible down and rolling up our sleeves is needed now more than ever.

That is what you call responsible thinking, rational thought, but we are talking about becoming disciples of Christ, and not everyone can follow Christ. If you have made up your mind, that is fine for you, you still have the court, and the alter of burnt offering there is for you, the problem being, it is without the Temple, and the temple proper is a body.

All those husbands and wives who sold all they owned to give to the poor. Husband's sold their livelihoods, and their houses and they led their wives out into the streets, homeless, and they grinned from ear to ear.

It's not for everyone, but if you want to be born again, you have to study. Just saying,'' Jesus, Jesus,'' is not going to make you born again.

Babies on milk cannot inherit the Zoe Kingdom, you have to raise a full grown mature man child within you.

Thoreau, you think all those people sacrificed their livelihoods, their houses and their entire lives to give to the poor for nothing?

All those people knew that there was more than one type of resurrection, there are 3 types, but woe are those with children and weaning children on Rosh Hashanah, the day of their death.

Would you rather your spouse spend time with you or helping someone else? Both are good things.

So when you speak of reward, there is no greater reward than the one who is in us, who is our hope of living in the same glory he lived by.
That is you speaking and assuming that you are indwelled with the same Holy spirit that came to the first Gentile converts to Judaism, Pentecost is a feast of Christ, not a feast of modern Christianity. You read the New Testament inserting yourself into it as if you had converted to the religion and worship system of Christ.

All of us have done this, and all of us are born into this.

Though millions of Christians claim to have the spirit of a Jewish feast, most of them reject the idea of Jewish feasts and still, they assume they have this Jewish spirit.

The scripture is telling us to acknowledge that there is a son of perdition within us, and we are to work toward the coming day of the Lord and to a day that we see that abomination within our own temple, and after we have acknowledged this, we study night and day that Christ might be formed in us at some time as we begin a 7 year covenant. There is a set plan of 42 months walking as Ephraim, and when one has come to the end of the days of this ministry, he goes all the way to death as a Gentile, and he is waiting on the coming of the son of man to replace the old man, to replace the old Adam.

These are the instruction given to a convert to Judaism, but all those Gentiles KNEW they were converts to Judaism, and they were in Judaism, they learned Judaism with all it's Sabbaths and feasts.

Those instructions were hard for the Gentiles who were actually in Judaism following Jesus in his 7 feasts appointed for his brides., BUT THEY WERE WILLING CONVERTS TO JUDAISM.

How much harder would it be for me to begin explaining this to people who reject the feasts of Christ?

Those people say,'' O we know what is right because Jesus teaches us personally.''

This, they say without reading a book, and now everything they think must come from God, and although they claim a Holy spirit, not one in one hundred million has a gift of the Holy spirit, and yet, they say they do and want me to believe them.

As they claim a spirit from a feast they reject, from a religion they reject, and I am supposed to believe them when they aren't even converts to Judaism.

Revelation is a book written about the fall Holy days showing a person how to be born again. Everything in the book is for the reader.

Revelation 12 is showing a person about to be born again after 42 months, and this only comes through struggle and it is a very long struggle, when you are born again, there is a new creature that is actually born inside you, and when you have matured that creature, he is born and caught up to God to sit in heavenly places while you continue the 3 and a half years remaining.

The Woman Persecuted
13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle to fly from the presence of the serpent to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.
15Then from the mouth of the serpent spewed water like a river to overtake the woman and sweep her away in the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth to swallow up the river that had poured from the dragon’s mouth. 17And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her children{Each child that is to be born again},who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.

Just because you believe in Jesus DOES NOT MAKE YOU BORN AGAIN.

Begin reading Revelation to see what is said to the people in the 7 churches, and then tell me that nothing matters.

Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.

You could not be further from the truth, i actually believe Christ loves worships and adores man created in his own image, with no desire to be worshipped and idolized how he and the scriptures are. Love does not expect anything in return.

I believe in a very broad salvation just as it is taught, broad is the way.

That is all fine and well as long as Gentiles aren't standing in the outer court of Gentiles claiming to be a priest of even a Levite who has scraped and squirmed his way past that 400 pound veil.

It sounds so nice and cuddly to put everyone in the same box, but to tell everyone it's just a big box is just not telling them what they need to know. It is fine if a person has given up and he doesn't want to run the race, but at least he should be informed that he is in fact, in a race for reward, and if he doesn't know this, he has no chance of reward, and there he is in the broad way.
