I seriously doubt Chicago would able to continue once warmer temperatures arrive. No matter what you can't convince people that Chicago is safe.

Clearly you couldn't have been bothered to read back one page:

February had the lowest monthly count of any month since 1957. March was nearly as low and the lowest count since 1959, and April has been historically very low as well through today.

February:
2012: 29
2013: 14
-52%

March
2012: 52
2013: 15
-71%

April 2012: 41
As of April 12th, 2013: 8

Everyone screams that when the weather gets warm it will spike, but Saturday was the first day of the year at 70 degrees or above and it fell on a weekend and there were no murders Friday or Saturday. That's a good sign, and sadly quite amazing really.

Chicago at 90 homicides to date. If this rate held, Chicago would have between 270 and 285 homicides for 2013...which would be quite an improvement.

And Chicago ended last year with a 16% increase and the nationwide media was absolutely freaking out about it as some sort of "epic year". This year Dallas is almost up almost 50% and Chicago is down 40% and you hear nothing about either. It's so strange, I assume just must due to the fact Obama is from here or something.

There's a top story on CNN right now about Chicago ending the first quarter with 70 homicides and talking about treating the gangs as terrorists and living in fear. If that rate held it's the exact same rate as cities like Omaha, Boston, Fort Wayne, Phoenix and lower than places like Atlanta, DC, Houston and Dallas. Just so random to pick it out of all places.

As far as Dallas, that is pretty crazy to be up 50%. Indianapolis is also up to 41 homicides, which is up over 33% from last year.
