Then why is the black population across all income brackets are shrinking in those cities EXCEPT Atlanta?
Do you really think the cost of living is would not be much lower in Atlanta that the salaries would somehow be the same or more as the other two cities?
Go look up the average home price or rent in those cities and come back.
Exactly. 80 grand in ATL is the equivalent of $136k in New York (Brooklyn to be nice) going buy CNN Money's cost of living calculator. So that person in NY isn't paid as well as the person in ATL, for example. People just copy & paste all willy nilly I see.
This is almost impossible to figure out, for any city. The ucr stats are not broken down that way for local agencies.

I never said anything about Atlanta's educated blacks or Atlanta's history with blacks. Nor was I the first one to mention Houston in this thread.
What about smaller or other areas? While we mention the usual areas, in a way, it would be good to know that there are other areas that fit the criteria and provide viable options in regards to the topic.

Dayton is a small city but they had a female Mayor, a Black woman, about 10 years ago. Dayton also has Trotwood, a Black suburb.
