Campus Towers, beside the ECU campus, is getting some kind of face lift. A lot of scaffolding on the side of it.

CSX is wanting to build a Transportation Yard Office and Crew Facility at the new switching yard. Recall the new switching yard will be built between Station Mill Road and 903. This is to replace the switching yard currently located inside the city. This will allow trains to spend less time in Greenville, so less blocks. The actual facility will be build on ~6 acre parcel, south of the railroad and Station Mill Road intersection. It is still early in the process, but this is a good thing!

The Children's Hospital is coming along. Three elevator shafts, plus a lot of the steel structure is going up.

Excellent, I don't see where it will be able to fit though? The only plot between those two is reserved for a restaurant.

In my opinion they should just renovate the former Steve & Berrys space in the mall, it would profit more, it's in a much better location, & it could possibly cost less.

Oh ok thank you for the information. This will definitely be great for Greenville since we don't have a large sports store (besides Overton's which iswater sports). Now they need to find tenants for the spots adjacent to Fresh Farm.

They might as well and demolish the old Steve & Berrys and try building smaller stores on the property.
