No, poor people should just borrow $20,000 from their parents and start their own business. This is so obvious, I don't know why I even have to write it down.

The middle class are the ones moving while the upper income earners come into the state.

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything?

Cutting taxes is not going to be a long term solution because people will not flock to Hartford and/or CT with serious investment into upgrading our cities. The city/state will have to keep cutting expenses to allow for low taxes and cutting state employee benefits will not be an unlimited gravy train.

"The money system is built a certain way to have RICH & POOR. The middle, upper middle, and lower upper class are the only a's who complain about poor people being lazy. Usually certain group of people complaining about the poor being lazy. Billionaires will never complain and tell the poor to stop getting benefits at the middle/upper class' and billionaires expense. Why? Because the extreme wealthy understands that in order for a rich person to exist, a poor person must exist. You can't have POOR without RICH and RICH without POOR. You can't have OUTDOOR without INDOOR. Cant have INSIDE without OUTSIDE."

Not true. Poor have been moving out of the cities into the suburbs / rural areas. We've documented that trend here.

Poor people are also moving into CT, drawn primarily by generous welfare, and vote overwhelmingly Democrat in CT to perpetuate and strengthen such economic dependency on the state. But we can't run our lives around "what would poor people want or do"

maybe, but the $600 million loss to projected revenue says otherwise. The income receipts alone are $75m off projections. Rich people might be moving here it they sure aren't keeping their money here.

New survey was just released on how friendly each state is to small businesses and Connecticut is ranking pretty badly.

Connecticut is ranked as the worst state for small businesses. We got an F for a second year in a row. This is the 5th year the survey was done. Back in 2012 Connecticut got a D, so things have gotten worse it seems.

Patently false. This is the zero sum game fallacy of people with little education in economics. There is not a fixed amount of money and if you have more of it, I have less. Not true.
